The boxing week, although not excessively busy, left significant changes in the rankings by division. One of the most outstanding moments was the victory of Floyd “Kid Austin” Schofield.

Schofield Rises in the Rankings

Schofield demonstrated his power by knocking out former world champion Tevin Farmer in just 78 seconds. Schofield, who inflicted three knockdowns on Farmer before securing the most important victory of his career, enters at number 9 in the lightweight rankings. Farmer, for his part, exits the rankings completely. On another front, although Jake Paul achieved a decision victory over Julio César Chávez Jr., this triumph was not enough to enter the cruiserweight top 10, despite the fact that he could obtain a place in the WBA and WBC rankings. Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramírez remains in second place in the cruiserweight division after his performance against Yuniel Dorticos. In addition, Raúl Curiel secured the number 10 spot in the welterweight ranking, after defeating Victor Ezequiel Rodriguez. In the heavyweight division, Deontay Wilder achieved his first victory since 2022 by defeating Tyrrell Herndon, but did not manage to enter the top 10. Christian Mbili consolidated his position in second place in the super middleweight division by defeating Maciej Sulecki. Here are the updated rankings by division:
