Chipper Jones and Marquis Grissom to Manage 2025 Futures Game
Major League Baseball announced that Chipper Jones and Marquis Grissom will be the managers for the 2025 Futures Game, which will be held on July 12 at Truist Park in Atlanta.
This encounter, which is part of the MLB All-Star weekend, is a crucial platform for young baseball talents.
Chipper Jones, a Hall of Fame Atlanta Braves legend, will lead the National League team. On the other hand, Marquis Grissom, also a former Braves player, will manage the American League team.
The event will bring together the most outstanding prospects from the minor leagues, representing the 30 MLB organizations.
Chipper Jones: An Icon of the Braves
Chipper Jones, who played his entire career with the Braves between 1993 and 2012, is recognized as one of the best third basemen of his era. His career includes eight All-Star Game appearances, the National League MVP award in 1999, a championship in 1995, and his induction into the Hall of Fame in 2018.
Jones finished his career with a .303 batting average, 468 home runs, and 1,623 RBIs.
