New York – Lionel Messi, the football legend, has selected his favorite goal from among the more than 800 he has scored throughout his brilliant career. This choice is part of a charitable initiative that merges the world of sport with art, promising an unprecedented event.

The initiative, driven by Messi, the Inter Miami CF Foundation, and artist Refik Anadol, will begin on May 22, when the Argentine star reveals his favorite goal on social media.

Inspired by this choice, Refik Anadol will create a unique work of art, which will bear the signature of both Messi and the artist. This piece will be auctioned at Christie’s, with the aim of raising funds for various charitable initiatives.

Choosing just one goal from all of them is very complicated, each one has something special and there are some very important ones or that bring me incredible memories. But highlighting one as a favorite for the first time so that this unique project is possible, is worth it. There is a very strong purpose behind it and it makes me very happy to be a part of it.

Education is the fuel of dreams. Therefore, at Inter Miami, we are committed to supporting programs that provide access to education for all.
