Rybakina Conquers Ningbo Open and Secures Tenth WTA Title

NINGBO, China – Elena Rybakina showed her power by coming back from a set down to defeat Ekaterina Alexandrova in the final of the Ningbo Open. The Kazakh tennis player won with scores of 3-6, 6-0, 6-2, thus adding her tenth title on the WTA circuit. Rybakina, seeded number three, had a hesitant start, yielding to her Russian opponent in the first set. However, she reacted with determination in the second set, showing absolute dominance that led her to win nine consecutive games and connect 11 aces.

“Thank you very much to my team for always pushing me to be better. Especially at the end of the season, it’s not easy, but without you I wouldn’t be here,” declared Rybakina.

“I want to congratulate Ekaterina on a great week and a great season so far,” Rybakina expressed.
