Rybakina Conquers Ningbo Open After Epic Comeback

NINGBO, China – Tennis player Elena Rybakina demonstrated her prowess by coming back from a set down to defeat Ekaterina Alexandrova in the final of the Ningbo Open. The victory, with scores of 3-6, 6-0 and 6-2, gave Rybakina her tenth WTA title. Rybakina, seeded number three, had a shaky start, being surpassed by her Russian rival in the first set. However, the Kazakh reacted with authority, dominating the second set and maintaining her momentum to secure the victory.

This triumph represents Rybakina’s second title of the year, solidifying her position on the circuit. Rybakina’s outstanding performance at the end of the season keeps her in the running for a place in the WTA Finals to be held in Riyadh in November. For Alexandrova, this was her third consecutive loss in a WTA 500 final.
