This triumph at the India Championship represents his first victory on the European circuit of the year. Keita Nakajima, who led the competition at the start of the final round, couldn’t keep up with Fleetwood, despite playing without bogeys. The key to Fleetwood’s success was a series of four consecutive birdies starting from the 7th hole, which allowed him to come back and take the lead.This triumph is especially significant for Fleetwood, as it allows him to be eligible for the final two events of the European season, the Abu Dhabi Championship and the Tour Championship in Dubai.
