The third day of the National Baseball League concluded successfully, marking the progress of the competition with the support of the fans. The teams of Herrera and Santo Domingo Este lead the table, demonstrating their strength in this edition.
This season, which is named “Opción a la Copa Banreservas”, is being played in several cities, including the capital, Santiago, San Juan, San Cristóbal, and San Pedro de Macorís.

The Constituyentes, Bucaneros, and Cocheros teams achieved important victories in this round of the National Professional Baseball League (LNBp) Copa Banreservas.
In San Cristóbal, the Constituyentes defeated Rieleros de Santiago with a score of 3-2. Gregori Vásquez earned the victory as a relief pitcher, while Félix Paulino achieved his first save. The players Yerinson Vásquez and Yeison Yrizarri stood out in the offense.
At the Navy Stadium, the Cocheros de San Pedro de Macorís defeated the Trinitarios de Santo Domingo Este with a score of 4-2, breaking their undefeated streak. Ulises Anglada was the winning pitcher, and Ángel Guerrero led the Cocheros’ offense.
In San Juan de la Maguana, the Bucaneros de Herrera defeated the Graneros with a score of 7-0. José Olaizola obtained his second victory of the tournament. Geury Estévez and Miguel Pérez were outstanding figures in the match.
The event, organized by the National Baseball League (LNBp) and chaired by Alfonso Peña Melo, is dedicated to the memory of former pitcher Octavio Dotel, and the Banreservas cup is being contested.
