Hamilton Confides in Ferrari Despite Challenges

Pilot Lewis Hamilton has expressed his firm belief in Ferrari’s potential to compete for the title, despite the obstacles. The experienced racer, who will join the team in 2025, highlighted that the media often focuses on the negative aspects, but he prefers to focus on the team’s ability to recover. Hamilton, who finished in eighth position in the Singapore Grand Prix, experienced a complicated weekend. A problem with the brakes prevented him from obtaining a better result. His teammate, Charles Leclerc, also faced similar difficulties, finishing in sixth place. These results reflect a difficult season for Ferrari, which has yet to achieve a victory so far this year.

Despite the disappointment, Hamilton sees the Singapore Grand Prix as an example of how the team can improve. In an extensive post, the driver wrote:

I’m focused on the positive aspects on the track. The media headlines only tell one story, one where we don’t do things well, or things don’t go as we want. But what I’ve focused on in the last few months is the other story. How this team responds when things go wrong. How we get up and try again.

Hamilton highlighted that the team is working hard and that he is proud of them. “I see the progress we are making and the hard work that goes into each race, but this is Ferrari,” he stated. “To achieve greatness, we need to go further, be better. There is much we can achieve together, and if we can build on our successes and change the things we need to, I firmly believe we will get there.”
