Fox to Televise 2025 World Baseball Classic

The Fox television network, along with its associated networks, will be in charge of broadcasting the next World Baseball Classic, securing the rights in English and Spanish for the American public. Fox confirmed that it will broadcast seven key games of the tournament, including the crucial championship match. In the 2023 edition, Fox broadcast the opening game of the United States against Great Britain, in addition to the exciting final match between the United States and Japan, through FS1 and Fox Deportes. Within the seven games that Fox will broadcast, three Group B matches, in which the United States team participates, are included. Two quarter-final games and the expected championship game, scheduled for March 17 at loanDepot Park in Miami, will also be broadcast. The remaining games can be enjoyed through FS1, FS2, the Fox Sports app, Fox One, and Tubi. Fox Deportes will offer the broadcast of 28 games in Spanish, including the quarterfinals, the semifinals, and the final game. Netflix also previously announced its intention to stream games from the World Baseball Classic in Japan. The sixth edition of the World Baseball Classic will bring together 20 teams competing in four groups in the first round, with venues in Tokyo, San Juan (Puerto Rico), Houston and Miami, starting on March 4th and 5th.
