Amanda Anisimova Wins China Open

American tennis player Amanda Anisimova, seeded number three, won the China Open title after defeating Linda Noskova in an exciting final.

Anisimova demonstrated her superiority on the indoor hard court, achieving a score of 6-0, 2-6, and 6-2. This victory marks a milestone in her career, solidifying her as one of the most promising figures in women’s tennis.

In the semifinal, Anisimova had defeated Coco Gauff, the defending champion, paving her way to the final. The decisive point came with a powerful backhand that secured her the championship.

Despite Noskova’s strong resistance, Anisimova remained calm and focused, securing the victory in a match that lasted 1 hour and 46 minutes.

Anisimova, who was runner-up at the US Open and Wimbledon this year, and is currently ranked number 4 in the world, adds her second WTA 1000 title of the season.

Noskova, 20, had managed to reach the final after saving three match points in the semifinals. She became the youngest Czech player to advance to this instance in a WTA 1000 event since this format was established in 2009.
