Massive Support for Napheesa Collier After WNBA Criticism
In a shocking turn of events, several WNBA players have expressed their support for Napheesa Collier, star of the Minnesota Lynx, after the latter harshly criticized the league’s management in her exit interview on Tuesday.Collier stirred up controversy by accusing the league commissioner, Cathy Engelbert, of being “negligent” in her management.“I think I agree with everything Collier said. We are at a very important moment in the league and changes need to be made, and I am proud of her for making that statement today,” commented Lexie Hull, alternate representative of the Indiana Fever players.

The player, who finished second in the MVP voting this year and is vice president of the WNBPA, co-founded and launched Unrivaled last year, a 3-on-3 women’s basketball league that operates during the WNBA offseason.“We have the best players in the world. We have the best fans in the world, but right now we have the worst leadership in the world,” Collier declared.
