Tribute to Hulk Hogan: RAF and WWE Unite for a Special Event
In a touching gesture, Real American Freestyle wrestling (RAF) joins World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) to pay tribute to the late commissioner Hulk Hogan. This video tribute will be broadcast during RAF’s inaugural event, scheduled for Saturday. Hogan, a key figure in the popularization of the then World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s, passed away on July 24 at the age of 71. The event, which will take place at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, will be broadcast on FOX Nation. Months before his passing, Hogan shared his enthusiasm for RAF with The Associated Press, a new venture he co-founded with Chad Bronstein. Bronstein, also CEO of RAF, has assured that Hogan’s influence will remain fundamental to the company.The relationship between RAF and WWE is cordial. Real American Beer, RAF’s main sponsor, is 10% owned by WWE and was also co-founded by Bronstein.He was super proud. He has been a great friend, mentor, and business partner. And his voice will be very present; this league will find unique ways to integrate it.

American Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle, one of WWE’s biggest stars in the early 2000s, will participate as a commentator. Bronstein revealed that it was Hogan who suggested Angle’s participation.
