Eubank Jr. targets Canelo Álvarez after the rematch with Benn
Chris Eubank Jr. has his sights set on a fight against Canelo Álvarez early next year. This, provided he manages to beat Conor Benn in their expected rematch scheduled for November 15th. Eubank will face Benn for the second time at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. In their first encounter, Eubank Jr. took the victory by unanimous decision. Both pugilists are obliged to face each other twice under the terms of the contract. The rematch will also be contested at middleweight, with a 160-pound limit and a 10-pound rehydration clause, as it was in the first fight. In the event of victory, Eubank will seek a major fight against Álvarez or even Terence Crawford, in the first part of 2026.“I think he will come out victorious in a resounding way [against Benn] and then he will want to face the best. Canelo and Crawford are the two names he would like to fight and we hope to make it happen early next year.”“[2026] is going to be a great year [for Eubank]”

“Canelo has never fought in the UK, the biggest star in boxing, and you have the biggest British boxing star [Eubank], the only one who could really make sense for Canelo. I think Wembley would sell out. I think it’s one of the biggest fights you could make in world boxing. Chris is focused on November 15th and then we can consider that fight.“I think [Canelo] is the fight”
