John Cena Headlines WWE Event in Indianapolis
The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast through ESPN’s streaming platform. Dinner will be accompanied by stellar figures such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre at the inaugural WWE event, Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for Saturday, September 20th. The event will begin at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Cody Rhodes, current undisputed WWE champion; Seth Rollins, World Heavyweight Champion; and Becky Lynch, Women’s Intercontinental Champion, will also be part of the event. This match will mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis as a wrestler. This event is the first under the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring Premium Live Events to ESPN platforms.Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record for the event at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Entries for the event will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets will be available on Thursday.
