Amazon Prime Video joins Masters broadcast in 2026

Attention golf fanatics! Masters coverage expands, and Amazon Prime Video joins the party in 2026. From April 2026, Prime Video will stream two hours of coverage, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET, during the first and second rounds of the prestigious tournament. This signifies a significant increase in the total coverage of the Masters, with a total of 27 hours of broadcast, 50% more than in 2024.

“Working alongside Amazon in this capacity is an exciting opportunity for the Masters Tournament and its fans,” said Fred Ridley, chairman of Augusta National, in a statement. “We are proud of our long-standing partnerships with CBS Sports and ESPN, who have set the highest standard for Masters coverage. The addition of Amazon will only increase our capabilities to expand and enhance the way the Tournament is presented and enjoyed.”

Prime Video’s broadcast will precede ESPN’s coverage during the first two rounds, which will take place on Thursday and Friday. Paramount+ and CBS will continue to broadcast live coverage during the last two rounds, on Saturday and Sunday.

“It’s an honor for all of us to become a broadcast partner of the Masters Tournament and provide four additional hours of coverage,” said Jay Marine, head of Prime Video for US and Global Sports. “We are honored and proud to begin our relationship with Augusta National Golf Club and we can’t wait to get started.”

CBS has been part of the event’s coverage since 1956. ESPN began broadcasting the first and second rounds in 2008. Paramount+ streamed two hours of coverage for the first time earlier this year.
