Santo Domingo – The Tigres del Licey have announced the addition of right-handed pitcher Cameron Gann as a reinforcement for the 2025-26 season of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM).
The 32-year-old American player is preparing for his third consecutive season in Dominican winter ball, after making a good impression in his previous participations.
Experience in LIDOM and Caribbean Series
Gann was already part of the blue team in the 2023-24 final, where he pitched five innings allowing one run in two appearances, after being selected from the Leones del Escogido in the Imported Draft. In addition, he reinforced the club in the 2024 Caribbean Series, held at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
In his two seasons in the winter league, he has pitched 44 innings in the regular season, with a WHIP of 1.25, 35 strikeouts and 21 walks. His greatest impact has been seen in the postseason, accumulating an ERA of 1.62 in 27.2 innings, with only five earned runs, 17 walks and 25 strikeouts.
International Career
Selected in the 27th round of the 2015 Amateur Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks, Gann played in the organization’s minor league system until 2021. This summer, he participated in the Mexican Baseball League, mainly with the Saraperos de Saltillo, pitching 73 innings.
His repertoire includes a four-seam fastball that averaged 93.2 miles per hour in 2025, as well as a slider, curveball, and changeup.

The North American reinforcement will be available from the start of the season. The Tigres del Licey will begin their season on Wednesday, October 15, facing the Leones del Escogido at the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, starting at 7:30 pm.
