Scholes Criticizes Manchester United’s Market Decisions
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has expressed his dissatisfaction with the club’s decisions in the transfer market, calling it a “crime” not to have tried to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma when he was available. Manchester City finally finalized the signing of Donnarumma for 30 million euros, while United announced the arrival of goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp. Scholes believes that the lack of attention to the goal and other decisions in the market could cost them dearly this season.I don’t think the quality is there [in the team]. The goalkeeping was a major problem. Did they really need to get to the game against Grimsby to realize that Onana isn’t good enough?

The next challenge for Amorim and United is at home against Chelsea on September 20th.At some point you have to have a moment where you think: ‘I have to change something because what I’m doing now isn’t working and I’m not getting results.’ The proof is there.
