Seahawks Comeback Against Steelers with an Epic Finish

The Seattle Seahawks pulled off an impressive comeback to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers with a score of 31-17 at Acrisure Stadium. The final quarter of the game was key, with the Seahawks scoring 17 points which included an unusual play.

After Seattle took a 17-14 lead thanks to a 54-yard field goal by Jason Myers, Steelers player Kaleb Johnson allowed Myers’ kickoff to bounce over his head and into the end zone. Johnson, apparently believing the play would be stopped, ran towards the sideline. However, Seattle continued to cover the ball, and George Holani dove on it before it left the end zone, resulting in a touchdown and a 24-14 lead for the Seahawks.

It was unclear whether the ball touched Johnson’s fingers, which would have been a fumble. The referees initially ruled that Pittsburgh did not cover the kick after it landed in the end zone, something the returning team must do under the league’s new kickoff rule.

After Pittsburgh responded with a field goal, the Seahawks found the end zone again. Kenneth Walker III scored on a third-and-19 run, another highlight in a game full of action.

Sam Darnold, from Seattle, suffered two interceptions in the first half, one of them after a deflection. Despite this, he threw touchdown passes to tight end AJ Barner and rookie receiver Tory Horton.
