Abadina and Uepa Tickets Digitize the TBS Distrito 2025 Tournament
The National District Basketball Association (Abadina), in collaboration with Uepa Tickets, has announced the complete digitalization of ticket and season ticket sales for the 49th Superior Basketball Tournament (TBS Distrito 2025). This transformative initiative seeks to optimize the basketball fans’ experience. Diego Pesqueira, president of Abadina; Nelson Ramírez, commissioner of TBS District 2025; and Gabriel Almas, general director of Uepa Tickets, were in charge of announcing this important news during a press conference held recently. Ticket sales will be exclusively through the digital platform. Fans will receive their tickets on their mobile devices, facilitating access to the Ricardo Gioriber Arias Volleyball Palace, venue of the tournament. Abadina and Uepa Tickets staff will be in charge of scanning the tickets at the entrance. This innovative measure aims to eliminate lines, the handling of physical tickets, and the black market, thus ensuring a more comfortable, secure, and transparent experience for all attendees.Ticket Prices and Details
Entries for the regular season and the elimination phase will cost 300 pesos per day. Season tickets for both phases will be available for 5,000 pesos. For those who wish to enjoy the VIP area, the cost per date will be RD$1,500 and season tickets will be priced at RD$25,000. It is important to note that these prices do not include service charges. The tickets will have a 20% discount during the first three days of sale, which will begin next Monday. Abadina also reported that courtesy accreditations will not be issued in any of the tournament phases. Uepa Tickets will offer a customer service module at the entrance of the Volleyball Palace during the matches to assist those who need help or wish to purchase digital tickets.The Superior Basketball Tournament of the National District 2025 will begin on Saturday, September 20th with an inaugural match in New Jersey, where the Mauricio Báez club, defending champion, and the Bameso club, runner-up of 2024, will face each other.“This is a historic step for Dominican sports. For the first time, a tournament is adopting a 100% digital ticketing and season ticket system, which makes it easier for fans to buy their tickets from anywhere, pay with a card and access with their mobile, without complications”, said the organizers.
