Free agent guard Landry Shamet has agreed to a one-year contract, securing his return to the New York Knicks. The news was confirmed by his agent, George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group.
This agreement will allow Shamet to continue his journey with the Knicks, marking his eighth season in the NBA. During the past season, Shamet participated in 50 games with the Knicks, averaging 5.7 points and 1.2 rebounds.
Shamet began his NBA career with the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2018-19 season. Throughout his career, he has also played for the Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards, LA Clippers, and Phoenix Suns.
