The news was confirmed by the British Boxing Board of Control, who announced Bugner’s death at his residence in Brisbane, Australia. His 32-year career in the ring made him a globally recognized name. Bugner faced great figures in boxing, including Henry Cooper, Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, and Frank Bruno. His fight against Ali for the world heavyweight title in 1975, although he lost on points in Kuala Lumpur, demonstrated his tenacity.
