SANTO DOMINGO. Adovenprofar-B won the championship of the South Division of the XXXV Chata de Ligas Rubén Pimentel tournament, organized by the Asociación de Softbol del Distrito Nacional (Asadina). The victory was achieved after a resounding knockout against the Restauradores, with a final score of 26-9. The match was part of the Confraternidad-2025 Cup and was played using 4Fans balls and Z-mil bats, sponsored by JM Álvarez. Adovenprofar-B demonstrated its dominance from the start, scoring three runs in the first inning, followed by three in the second, thirteen in the third, and seven in the fourth. The Restauradores managed to score nine runs, all in the third inning. Misael Pérez won as a pitcher, while Víctor Betances took the loss.

Abimal Acevedo was the offensive figure of Adovenprofar-B, connecting two home runs and a triple, scoring three times and driving in seven runs. Apolinar Durán, president of Asadina, highlighted that the tournament is dedicated to Jorge Rijo and Rafael Franjul, emblematic figures of Dominican softball. In the awards ceremony, Pablo José Rodríguez, first vice president of Asadina, presented the trophy to the champion team of the South Division, Adovenprofar-B, and congratulated the 15 teams that participated in the zone, highlighting the spirit of brotherhood. Luis Soufront, leader of Adovenprofar, dedicated the trophy to all the members of his league, thanking the fans for their support.
