A Multi-Year Contract with Trackhouse Racing

I never thought I would get anywhere in racing. My parents have supported me from day one, in every moment, the good and the bad.

Connor Zilisch
Zilisch reflected on his career, remembering the challenges and the support of his parents. His words resonated with the audience, including his own parents, who were also moved. From his karting beginnings, including a stint in Europe at age 11, Zilisch has shown exceptional talent. His transition to professionalism in 2021 marked the beginning of a successful career. In the last two years, Zilisch has achieved significant accomplishments, including victories in the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, as well as five ARCA races and two poles in the NASCAR Truck Series. As a Trackhouse development driver for two years, Zilisch has proven to be ready for the top level of NASCAR, excelling with JR Motorsports and currently leading the Xfinity series standings. With eight wins in 27 Xfinity races and a streak of 12 consecutive top-five finishes, Zilisch has left an indelible mark. He highlighted his victory at Daytona, even after an accident that required the participation of substitute driver Parker Kligerman. Zilisch himself competed despite having suffered a fractured clavicle, demonstrating his determination and commitment to the sport.

Connor is a rare talent that comes along every few decades. I’ve watched him grow from a kid racing karts until he beat us all in Trans Am racing a few years ago.

Justin Marks
Marks praised Zilisch’s maturity and potential, highlighting his preparation for the Cup in 2026. Zilisch has been guided by former driver Josh Wise and Dr. Eric Warren of General Motors. In the coming weeks, Marks will announce Zilisch’s car number, as well as details about sponsors, team principal, and the team lineup.
