Sabana Grande de Boyá, Monte Plata – Deputy Jhon Contreras joined the 14th Soccer Tournament organized by the Sabana Grande de Boyá Soccer Club this Sunday. The sporting event brought together more than 200 athletes, promoting integration and healthy competition. Various soccer teams from different locations in the country gathered at the tournament. Among them, San Isidro FC, Santo Domingo Este FC, Bayaguana FC, Monte Plata FC, and the representative team of UASD stood out, competing in several categories. The competition included categories such as U-11, U-15, U-20 and senior free, consolidating the tournament as a key event for football in the province.
Congressman Contreras emphasized the relevance of these sports spaces for the integral development of young people, reaffirming his commitment to support the clubs and leagues of Monte Plata. The 14th Invitational Tournament was considered a success by organizers and participants, who celebrated the high participation of athletes and the support of the authorities present. Professor Santo Efigenio García, known as El Mello, led the organization of the event, expressing his gratitude for the support received to carry out this important sporting day.This type of tournaments strengthen not only sports, but also the unity and the future of our youth. Football is a tool for social transformation, and in Monte Plata we will continue to promote these initiatives.
