John Cena to Headline WWE Premium Event in Indianapolis
The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast through ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service. This highly anticipated event, called Wrestlepalooza, will take place on Saturday, September 20th. Cena will share the ring with prominent figures such as Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre. The event will start at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Cody Rhodes, current undisputed WWE champion, Seth Rollins, World Heavyweight Champion, and Becky Lynch, women’s intercontinental champion, will also be present at this major event. In addition, it will mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis. This inaugural event is part of the new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring live Premium events to ESPN platforms. Subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all live Premium WWE events as part of their package.Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, setting an attendance record at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Entries for the event will go on sale starting Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets will be available on Thursday. In addition, two more events this year, Crown Jewel on October 11th and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29th, will also be broadcast on ESPN platforms.On September 20th, WWE and ESPN are joining forces for a can’t-miss event that will mark the beginning of our new partnership.
