John Cena Headlines Wrestlepalooza in Indianapolis
The renowned wrestler John Cena will lead a WWE Premium Live Event next month in Indianapolis, which will be broadcast through ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service. Cena will be accompanied by Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre at WWE’s first Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for Saturday, September 20th. The event will start at 7 p.m. ET at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Rhodes holds the Undisputed WWE Championship, Rollins is the World Heavyweight Champion, and Lynch is the Women’s Intercontinental Champion. This event will mark Cena’s last appearance in Indianapolis.This event is the first of a new five-year agreement between WWE and ESPN, which will bring Premium Live events to ESPN platforms. ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service will premiere on Thursday, and subscribers to the unlimited plan will have access to all WWE Premium Live events as part of their package.
Indianapolis hosted the 2025 Royal Rumble, which set an attendance record for the event at the nearby Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. ET. Presales will be available on Thursday. Two more events this year, Crown Jewel on October 11th and Survivor Series in San Diego on November 29th, will also be broadcast on ESPN platforms.On September 20th, WWE and ESPN will unite for a can’t-miss event that will kick off our new partnership.
