Lynx’s Napheesa Collier Questionable for Game Against the Dream
Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier has been listed as questionable for Thursday’s game against the Atlanta Dream.
Collier has missed the last five games due to a sprained ankle. During her absence, the Lynx have achieved a 4-1 record.
Collier’s injury occurred in the August 2nd game against the Las Vegas Aces, when she unfortunately fell on her right foot in the final seconds of the third quarter.
Following an MRI, it was determined that she avoided a serious injury and was diagnosed with a sprained ankle. Collier was expected to be reevaluated two weeks after the injury.
Before the injury, Collier had established herself as one of the leading MVP candidates, leading the league in scoring with 23.5 points per game, in addition to 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.6 blocks.
The Minnesota Lynx have 10 games remaining in the regular season, including Thursday’s game in Atlanta.
