OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is in good health after suffering a foot stomp during Wednesday’s practice, according to a team spokesperson. The NFL’s two-time Most Valuable Player, Jackson, accidentally fell to the ground 90 minutes into practice. He stayed on the field to throw a couple more passes before heading to the facilities with the team doctor and coach, 40 minutes early. Before leaving the field, Jackson appeared to be flexing his right wrist. The Ravens haven’t played Jackson in a preseason game in the last four years to minimize the risk of injury. The only practice missed at this year’s training camp was an excused absence for pre-arranged personal reasons. Jackson, 28, hasn’t missed a game due to injury since the 2022 season. Ravens wide receiver Tylan Wallace didn’t realize Jackson had left the field.
The Ravens start the season in 18 days, when they face the Buffalo Bills.Obviously, we’ll keep him in our prayers and hope he’s okay. I’m sure, knowing Lamar, he’ll be back before we know it.
