Jakob Marsee Impresses with the Marlins: Two-Run Homer and RBI Record

Jakob Marsee is making a splash in his debut in the Major Leagues with the Miami Marlins, proving his worth from the start. Marsee connected two home runs and tied a franchise record with seven RBIs in Miami’s 13-4 victory against Cleveland on Wednesday night. His performance included a three-run homer in the first inning, a two-run hit to break the tie in the fifth, and a two-run double in the sixth. The last player to drive in seven runs for the Marlins was Adam Duvall on April 13, 2021, in Atlanta.

He also prevented a hit by Steven Kwan with a diving catch in the bottom of the third inning. Marsee, originally from Michigan, who played in college for Central Michigan, had the support of his family and friends.

It’s been a long road. Having them here means everything to me.
