Lions’ Morice Norris is recovering from injury
Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris was seen at the team’s training facility on Sunday, just two days after being carted off the field in an ambulance during a preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. A source close to the situation, who preferred to remain anonymous, reported that Norris was discharged from the hospital in Atlanta and returned home on Saturday. The player shared a message on social media the day after the incident, assuring that he is fine and thanking for the support received.Norris was attended to by medical personnel for approximately 20 minutes and transported to an Atlanta hospital, where he was reported to be stable. The incident occurred with 14:50 remaining in the preseason game, after a collision with Falcons running back Nathan Carter. After the game resumed, Atlanta quarterback Emory Jones started the play and the players from both teams joined in prayer. Coaches Dan Campbell of Detroit and Raheem Morris of Atlanta decided not to resume the game.
