JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little made a 70-yard field goal at the end of the first half of the preseason game against Pittsburgh at EverBank Stadium on Saturday night. Had it been in a regular season game, it would have broken the NFL record. The current record holder is Justin Tucker of Baltimore, who achieved a 66-yard field goal against the Detroit Lions on September 26, 2021. That game was played at Ford Field.

Little celebrated effusively after the goal, which seemed to cross the crossbar by a difference of 3 to 4 yards. Travis Hunter was the first person to approach Little and gave him a celebratory chest bump before being surrounded by the rest of his teammates. Someone gave the ball to Little, who hugged it as he left the field. The field goal reduced the Steelers’ lead to 14-9.
