Worrying Injury for Bilhal Kone in the Preseason Match

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Bilhal Kone was ruled out of the preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts due to a serious injury to his left knee, suffered at the end of the first quarter. Kone, selected in the sixth round of the draft as a rookie, was in a dispute with Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin on the left sideline when he fell in the end zone after an incomplete pass. The severity of the injury was immediately evident, as the player grabbed his left leg in obvious pain.
Rookie cornerback Bilhal Kone had his left leg placed in an air cast and was carted off in the first half of the Ravens' preseason opener vs. the Colts.
The Ravens’ trainers placed a splint on Kone’s leg before removing him from the field on a stretcher. The player was competing for one of the last cornerback spots on the Baltimore team. In his final season, Kone led Western Michigan with nine passes defended, in addition to accumulating 70 tackles and one interception.
