Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-Min described his farewell on Sunday as a “perfect moment” as he ended his decade at the club. Son, visibly emotional, starred in the 1-1 draw against Newcastle United in South Korea. He cried upon receiving a standing ovation and a guard of honor from the players of both teams, after being substituted around the hour mark in the club’s last pre-season tour match in Asia. “It was a perfect moment,” Son told the club’s website. “Sharing these beautiful moments is something I will never forget and will always cherish, from the fans, the players, and the coach.”

They also expressed their gratitude to the coach, highlighting the understanding and support received. “He understood my situation and was always on my side. He always listened to me and asked me what I wanted to do. I have great respect for him and I am very grateful.” Reflecting on his time in North London, he added:
