A CT scan revealed that there were no injuries to the head, neck, or spine. The accident video shows Stewart Friesen’s truck hitting the outside wall of the track, flipping over and catching fire. The vehicle landed hard on the track and was hit by another truck before coming to a stop on its wheels. Jessica Friesen expressed her gratitude to the track team for their patience and care in removing her husband from the vehicle. Stewart Friesen is expected to be transferred to a hospital in New York, where he will undergo multiple surgeries. The Friesen family thanked the hospital staff in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, for the excellent care and several members of the racing community who helped facilitate Stewart’s transfer. They also highlighted the overwhelming support received from the racing family.
