Titans receiver Treylon Burks suffers fractured collarbone

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks suffered a fractured collarbone during the team’s open practice at Nissan Stadium on Saturday. The injury occurred while Burks was making a spectacular one-handed catch during a team practice. Burks managed to catch a deep pass from quarterback Cameron Ward along the sideline and caught it with one hand before falling to the ground. His shoulder hit the field first as he tried to prevent the ball from going out after contact with the ground. Treylon Burks is currently being evaluated for a shoulder injury and we will have an update on his status in due course. Burks showed up to training camp in good shape and impressed new general manager Mike Borgonzi. The receiver, in his fourth year, tore his ACL during practice last October and missed the rest of the season. The ACL injury prevented Burks from fully participating in voluntary workouts and minicamp. However, he was excited to get back on the field when training camp began last week.

The last three years my injuries prevented me from being who I really am. I feel like I’m in a good place. God has taken me from the lowest to the highest and from the highest to the lowest. I am blessed for that.

The Titans selected Burks with the number 18 pick in the 2022 draft. In three seasons, Burks has caught 53 passes for 699 yards and a touchdown in 27 games. The Titans did not exercise Burks’ fifth-year option for next season.
