Tragic confrontation in Nizao: Two men die after exchange of gunfire with DICRIM
An armed confrontation in the municipal district of Don Gregorio, belonging to the municipality of Nizao in the Peravia province, ended with the lives of two men following an operation carried out by agents of the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM). Local authorities are currently processing the scene to clarify the exact details of the event.
Among the deceased was identified Wander Cuevas, widely known in the area by the nickname “El Poli”. So far, the identity of his companion, who also lost his life during the incident, remains under official investigation.
