Moments of tension during Willy Piña’s wake in Barahona
The wake of Willi David Gómez Batista, popularly known as Willy Piña, was marred by moments of high tension in the Palmarito sector, in the province of Barahona. During the young man’s farewell, various gunshots were reported in the vicinity of the location, causing alarm among the family members and loved ones who were present.
Given the situation of instability, units of the National Police immediately moved to the area to reinforce security.
