Laboratorios Rowe celebrates more than 35 years of history with the launch of its historical book

With the goal of honoring its legacy and documenting its evolution in the pharmaceutical market, Laboratorios Rowe officially presented the work titled “Rowe, where it all began.” This book compiles more than three and a half decades of history, detailing the milestones, strategic decisions, and experiences of those who have been fundamental pillars in the organization’s growth.

The launch event took place last September 10th at the company’s corporate headquarters in Santo Domingo. The activity was attended by Rodolfo Wehe, founder of the company, as well as executives, historical collaborators, and special guests who have witnessed the institution’s trajectory in the Dominican Republic.

This is the story of a company and the lives of many people, including many who are no longer with us. Since everything began here, this country has a very special place in my heart.

A tribute to human talent

The initiative to document this history was driven by Sarah Pineda, Director of Operations at Laboratorios Rowe. According to Pineda, the main purpose of the publication is to recognize the pioneers who laid the foundations of the company and ensure that their experiences serve as inspiration and guidance for current and future generations.

The book offers a deep and human look through various narrative resources:

  • Exclusive interviews with key figures from different stages of the company.
  • Stories and anecdotes that reconstruct the challenges overcome in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Testimonials on the impact of organizational culture on the country’s development.

With this publication, Laboratorios Rowe reaffirms its commitment to excellence and transparency, consolidating a historical archive that not only narrates the company’s growth, but also celebrates the indelible mark of every collaborator who has been part of its evolution throughout 35 years of service in the Dominican Republic.
