Luis Abinader carries out an intense work agenda in the Cibao region
The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, has scheduled an extensive three-day work agenda, from September 14 to 16, focusing his attention on the provinces of Santiago, Espaillat, and Valverde. During this tour, the president will lead the inaugurations of vital works, oversee high-impact infrastructure projects, and hold strategic meetings with the various productive sectors of the northern region.
Monday 14: Focus on Espaillat and Santiago
The agenda will begin on Monday, September 14, in the municipality of Moca, Espaillat province. There, the head of state will inaugurate the Las Espinas highway, a 5.8-kilometer infrastructure designed to optimize road connectivity and transport flow in the region. Subsequently, he will hold a meeting with local authorities and mayors of the province to coordinate priority municipal development actions.
During the afternoon of this same Monday, the president will travel to the city of Santiago to fulfill a series of private meetings intended to address issues of national and regional interest.
Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th: Infrastructure development and supervision
Tuesday the 15th will be dedicated to work sessions with the business, academic, social, and public sectors in Santiago, seeking to strengthen the alliance with the province’s vital forces.
For Wednesday the 16th, the day will be one of high intensity in public works:
- Inauguration of El Guano school to strengthen educational infrastructure.
- Supervision of expansion works at Cibao International Airport.
- Inspection of sewage and treatment plant works in Licey al Medio.
- Visit to Valverde province to evaluate progress on the sewage system and the construction of the Mao Trauma Hospital.
The objective of this tour is to ensure that infrastructure, education, and health projects progress according to the planned schedule, ensuring that development reaches every corner of the Cibao region effectively.
The journey will conclude in Valverde with a final meeting with provincial authorities and mayors, with the purpose of following up on priority projects that seek to improve the quality of life for all residents of this district.
