Argentina leads the FIFA Ranking, Spain and France are lurking
The Argentinian National Team remains at the top of the FIFA ranking, solidifying its position with 1885.36 points. Spain and France, with an outstanding performance, are getting dangerously close, occupying second and third place, respectively.
The albiceleste, which has been at the top since April 2023, has experienced a slight decrease of 0.8 points. However, Spain, after its performance in the Nations League, added 12.45 points, while France, which reached the semi-finals, added 9.32 points.
In the top 10, England remains in fourth position (1813.32), followed by Brazil (1777.69). Portugal, after winning the Nations League, rises to sixth place (1770.53), surpassing the Netherlands (1758.18).
Belgium is in eighth place (1736.38), Germany, climbing one place, is ninth (1716.98) and Croatia joins the top 10 (1707.51), displacing Italy, which drops two positions and is in 11th place (1702.58).
Regarding the selections of America, after Argentina and Brazil, Mexico stands out in 13th place, followed by Colombia, the United States, and Uruguay.
Ecuador (twenty-fifth), Canada (twenty-eighth), Panama (thirtieth), Costa Rica (fortieth, the one that rises the most with fourteen units), Peru (forty-second), Paraguay (forty-third) and Venezuela (forty-sixth) are also among the fifty best.
The selections that lost the most positions are Congo, Haiti, Jamaica, and Maldives, with seven places each. The last five positions in the ranking are occupied by Turks and Caicos (803.98), U.S. Virgin Islands (779.71), U.S. Virgin Islands (768.5), Anguilla (758.52), and San Marino (738.24).
