Intensive preparation and mini-camp
Borg emphasized that success on the diamond is the result of meticulous planning. Under this premise, the manager announced that the team will formally begin its activities next Monday with the opening of a minicamp. This space will serve as a starting point for the integration of pitchers and several position players, allowing the coaching staff to evaluate the available talent and begin to forge the club’s competitive identity.
- Mini-camp start: Monday.
- Objective: Early integration of pitchers and position players.
- Focus: Establishing team identity from the preseason.
The Robinson Canó case
One of the points that generates the most interest among the green fanbase is the possible participation of star Robinson Canó. In this regard, Borg confirmed that he maintains fluid communication with the veteran player and revealed that conversations for his return to the team are already underway between the star ballplayer and the team’s management.
With the arrival of Borg, the Estrellas Orientales strengthen their operational structure, betting on the continuity of previous work and the strategic integration of their key pieces. The new manager is optimistic and focused on meeting the expectations of a fanbase that hopes to see their team competing at the highest level of Dominican winter baseball.
