Authorities search for homicide suspect after incident in Los Praditos
The National Police, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, has intensified search efforts to locate the whereabouts of Lenin Jhericop Núñez de León. The individual is identified as the main suspect in a physical assault that ended in tragedy in the Los Praditos sector, National District.
The case dates back to July 1st, when Emmanuel Contreras Medina was the victim of a brutal beating in the vicinity of a local baseball stadium. After remaining under medical care for several weeks due to the blunt force injuries received, Contreras Medina passed away this Tuesday while receiving treatment at a hospital center.

Preliminary investigations suggest that, following the incident, Núñez de León allegedly left Dominican territory bound for the United States. Given this scenario, local authorities have activated the necessary international cooperation mechanisms to locate the suspect and ensure he faces justice for the event that occurred in Los Praditos.
