PRM leadership in Dajabón officializes support for David Collado’s presidential aspirations
In a significant political meeting held in the province of Dajabón, the main legislative and municipal figures of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) expressed their strong support for the presidential aspirations of the current Minister of Tourism, David Collado. The activity brought together a broad representation of the ruling party’s structure, consolidating a movement that seeks to position the official as an option for continuity within the political organization.
The senator for Dajabón, Ney Rodríguez, led the statements during the day, highlighting the sustained growth of Collado’s popularity nationwide. Rodríguez emphasized that this phenomenon is a sentiment that extends throughout the country and will continue to manifest itself through assemblies in various districts.

The legislator clarified that, although the minister maintains a stance of respect towards his current public duties, this does not imply that he is removed from political activity. For this reason, the assemblies are held without his direct presence, allowing his work team to continue articulating a solid structure at the national level.
An expanding political structure
The event was attended by important figures from both the province and the national level, who support the vision for the future that Collado represents for the PRM. Among the local leaders present were:

Likewise, the support had the endorsement of prominent national leaders, including Víctor D’Aza, Senator Mercedes Ortiz, and deputies Aníbal Díaz and Amado Díaz, the latter being the spokesperson for the ruling party in the Lower House. Representatives of the Modern Revolutionary Youth and other provincial leaders who seek to strengthen the presence of the political project throughout the Dominican territory also attended.
