Rotaract Club San Cristóbal promotes education with the School with Rotaract day
The Rotaract Club of San Cristóbal successfully concluded its initiative called School with Rotaract, a social project designed to provide comprehensive support to nearly 80 children from various communities in the province. After several weeks of management and resource collection, the volunteers managed to deliver school supplies, in addition to offering a day filled with motivation and learning.
Positive impact on El Pomier and Cambita
The activity was carried out throughout Sunday, covering two strategic sectors. In the morning, the team moved to El Pomier, while the afternoon session took place in Cambita. The program was not limited to the delivery of materials, but also integrated recreational dynamics, hula-hoop competitions, face painting sessions, and educational games with toy prizes.
You have to promise us that you will take care of your school supplies and that you will study hard.
Massiel Familia, president of the Rotaract Club San Cristóbal
During the event, Massiel Familia, president of the organization, made a special call to the students to value their academic tools and maintain a firm commitment to their school education.
Collaboration and community service
The success of the day was made possible thanks to the support of key figures and strategic allies. Among the notable collaborators are the club advisor, Gedalía Martínez, and Manuel Martínez, who provided constant accompaniment. Likewise, the efforts of the internal committees were added:
- Darleni Valdez, from the Health Committee, who instructed the children on the importance of hygiene and handwashing.
- Francisca Frías, president of the Public Image Committee.
- Ruth Montero, club secretary.
- Rubí Santos, outstanding team volunteer.
Engineer Robert Nina, president of the Rotary Club of San Cristóbal, also supported the initiative, reaffirming the Rotary organization’s backing for projects that promote social well-being and the development of new generations in San Cristóbal.
A commitment to the future
Beyond the material delivery, the Rotaract Club San Cristóbal emphasized that its main objective is to inspire students to see education as the fundamental engine for building a better future. The reception from the beneficiary families was extremely positive, consolidating the role of this organization as a pillar in community service and youth leadership in the region.
