Ariadna Michelle Ciprián, the sole survivor of the accident linked to Nino Dollar, is out of danger

Ariadna Michelle Ciprián, who was seriously injured after the tragic traffic accident on Abraham Lincoln Avenue involving Carlos José Troche Rodríguez, better known as Nino Dollar, has shown positive medical progress. According to recent information from the Doctor Ney Arias Lora Trauma Hospital, the young woman is currently out of danger.

Ciprián, who suffered fractures in both legs and various contusions, underwent surgery last Friday. The medical specialists overseeing her case are now evaluating the placement of an external fixator to stabilize her lower extremities as a fundamental part of her recovery process.

Details of the fatal event

The road accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, August 15. The collision involved an SUV and a motorcycle carrying three people. Sadly, the impact claimed the lives of Wilmer Ernesto Rodríguez Silverio and his 21-year-old daughter, Wilkaren Massiel Rodríguez Batista, leaving Ariadna Ciprián as the sole survivor from the motorcycle.

Judicial process against Nino Dollar

Carlos José Troche Rodríguez, identified as the driver of the SUV, voluntarily turned himself in to the authorities on August 17 at the Driver’s Center. Since then, he has remained in custody while the Public Prosecutor’s Office deepens its investigations.

The Prosecutor’s Office has classified the event as an alleged crime of culpable assault against life, based on the provisions of Law 74-2025 of the new Penal Code.

The judicial process has had recent developments in the courts. The hearing for the imposition of coercive measures, initially scheduled, was postponed to this Monday, August 24. This decision responds to the request of the plaintiff’s party to have an additional period to constitute themselves as a civil party representing the survivor, who still remains under medical observation.

While awaiting the judicial resolution, attention remains divided between the progress of legal investigations to determine responsibilities in the case and the physical rehabilitation process that Ariadna Michelle Ciprián will have to face in the coming months.
