Gianni Infantino visits Dominican Republic for Caribbean football leaders summit
The president of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Gianni Infantino, landed this Friday on Dominican soil with the goal of participating in a series of strategic activities organized by the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The meeting, which is being held in the Punta Cana area, brings together the main leaders of football associations from across the region.
Upon his arrival in the country, the top representative of world football was welcomed by the Minister of Sports, Kelvin Cruz, who highlighted the positive impact of this visit for the national sports ecosystem. Along with Infantino, key figures such as Concacaf President Víctor Montagliani are also in the country.
