Diana Pou shines while performing the United States national anthem at Citi Field
Dominican artist Diana Pou experienced an unforgettable day by having the privilege of singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the Dominican Heritage celebration at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. This event, which took place on August 14th, became a stage of unity and pride for the Dominican community in New York.
I am happy as can be to share my interpretation of the National Anthem at the New York Mets game. It was an absolute honor and a night I will never forget.

The evening was a true cultural celebration where baseball served as a meeting point. In addition to Pou’s participation, the day featured the notable presence of DJ Lobo, who also expressed his gratitude for being part of this tribute to Dominican roots on U.S. soil.

Diana Pou is a multidisciplinary artist whose connection to music was born at an early age, when she received her first toy piano at the age of three. That initial curiosity transformed into a professional vocation, leading her to train rigorously at the National Conservatory of Music of Santo Domingo, where she polished her skills in classical piano and singing.
