Puerto Plata gets ready for the exciting Beach Soccer Cup 2026
The province of Puerto Plata will be the epicenter of beach soccer in the Dominican Republic. From August 21 to 23, Charamico Beach in Sosúa will host the 2026 edition of the Puerto Plata Beach Soccer Cup, an event that promises to bring together more than 150 talented soccer players in an environment of high competition and recreation.
The sporting event, organized by Puerto Plata Beach Soccer, has established itself as a benchmark for this discipline in the country. On this occasion, the tournament will be divided into two main categories: Open and Under-15, providing space for both established clubs and the new promises of local soccer.
Participating clubs
Competitiveness will be guaranteed with the presence of outstanding teams:
- Open Category: Atlántico FC, Sosúa FC, Muñoz FC, Real Deportivo, Club 6 de Febrero and Club 5 de Abril.
- U-15 Category: Luis Nova Soccer, Sosúa FC, Miramar FC, Real Deportivo and BOB Soccer.

The Puerto Plata Beach Soccer Cup transcends the limits of the field. The organizing committee has the fundamental goal of positioning the province as a leading destination for sports tourism in the Caribbean, taking advantage of its infrastructure and the natural environment of its coasts.
