Pablo Torre close to signing for Mallorca

Barcelona’s attacking midfielder, Pablo Torre, is about to finalize his transfer to Mallorca after reaching an agreement with the LaLiga club, according to sources close to the matter. A meeting was held on Thursday between Mallorca and Torre’s entourage, where an agreement was reached with the player, who is attracted to Mallorca’s project. In the coming days, Mallorca will contact Barcelona to try to reach a final agreement on the transfer fee. The initial idea is that it will be a definitive transfer in which Barcelona reserves 50% of a future sale. The 22-year-old footballer struggled to establish himself in Barcelona’s first team last season. Despite playing only 421 minutes in all competitions, he managed to score three goals and provide four assists. Torre was part of the Spanish national team in the European Under-21 Championship this summer, coming on as a substitute in the 3-1 defeat against England in the quarter-finals.
