Rashford Could Return to Manchester United Training in July
Forward Marcus Rashford is considering his return to training with Manchester United next month, in case a transfer doesn’t materialize before that date, according to sources close to the player.
The club is open to listening to offers for Rashford this summer, along with other players such as Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho.
There is interest from teams such as Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus and Bayern Munich, as well as several Premier League clubs.
However, United has not yet received a formal offer. Therefore, Rashford, who has a contract until 2028, will report to Carrington in July for pre-season.
Sources indicate that coach Rúben Amorim has not decided whether Rashford, Antony, Garnacho and Sancho will be part of the team for the summer tour of the United States.
More than a month after the trip to Chicago, New York and Atlanta, sources close to Amorim have stated that it is “too early” to make definitive decisions about those called up.
Rashford was on loan at Aston Villa during the second half of last season, scoring four goals in 17 appearances.
According to sources, United does not rule out agreeing to another loan, although they would prefer a permanent transfer. The 27-year-old player is valued at around £40 million.
Rashford’s preference, according to sources, is to join a club that plays in the Champions League, with the aim of being in the best possible position to be part of the England national team for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
